Elatur CH is non-toxic and free, making it a prime choice for applications where PVC comes in close human contact.
Elatur CH's performance properties are excellent for both thermoplastic and plastisol applications in terms of cold flexibility, rheological properties, hydrolytic stability, migration, and UV stability.
Elatur CH is also used in applications like wire & cables, coated textiles, roofing membranes, truck covers, protective clothing, artificial leather, adhesives & sealants and toys.

Elatur CH is characterised by a combination of much sought-after properties, including excellent low-temperature flexibility and high UV resistance.
Elatur CH is easy to process due to its low viscosity and is particularly suitable for demanding exterior and interior applications such as textile fabrics, roofing membranes, floor coverings, adhesives and sealants, as well as paints and coatings.
Elatur CH is used in thermoplastic and plastisol applications such as flooring, wall coverings, films, hoses, adhesives and sealants.
Elatur CH is free and non-toxic which is suitable for applications where PVC comes in close contact with humans.
Elatur CH exhibits good rheological properties, migration and UV stability.
Elatur CH is a non-phthalate plasticizer that is well suited for PVC applications including flooring, wall coverings, films, hoses, adhesives and sealants.

Elatur CH is  mainly  used  as plasticiser in polymer formulations, especially together with PVC, PAMA and PVB.
The  advantageous  properties  of  the  high  molecular  weight  ester  are apparent  in  every  method  of  thermoplastics  processing  and  also  in  the processing  of  plastisols,  as  well  as  in  the  performance  of  all  kinds  of  the finished  products.
Elatur CH  is  also  used  in  other  technical  products  like  e.g.  in adhesives.
Elatur CH is used as a plasticizer for  polymers,  as  phlegmatizer  (for  organic  peroxides),  in  construction chemicals,  for  the  manufacture  of  coatings,  inks  and  colors,  for  the production  of  lubricants  and  the  production  of  adhesives.
Elatur CH's  predominant use  is  as  a  plasticizer  for  PVC  in  all  kind  of  (soft)  PVC-products  especially flooring applications, wallpapers, coated fabrics,  roofing membranes, hoses, profiles, artificial leather and wire & cable applications.
In these applications Elatur CH is always included in the PVC-matrix.

Elatur CH is colorless oil.
Elatur CH is used as a plasticizer for the manufacture of flexible plastic articles in sensitive application areas such as toys, medical devices, and food packaging.
Elatur CH is of interest as an alternative for phthalate plasticizers, which are implicated as endocrine disruptors.
Elatur CH is a non-phthalate plasticizer that is well suited for PVC applications including flooring, wall coverings, films, hoses, adhesives and sealants.
Elatur CH is non-toxic and free, making it a prime choice for applications where PVC comes in close human contact.
Elatur CH exhibits low migration. Used in foodstuffs wrapping, lid seals, children toys, medical devices, PVC plastisols and plastic inflation products.

Elatur CH is a clear, colorless plasticizer that was developed for use in applications that are particularly sensitive based on exposure and toxicological issues.
Elatur CH is recommended for use in medical products, toys, and food packaging applications.
Elatur CH is suitable for use with PVC and other polar polymers.
Elatur CH is compatible with all of the monomeric plasticizers commonly used in PVC.
In most cases, only minor formulation and processing parameter adjustments are required to process flexible PVC compounds.
Elatur CH offers improved low temperature performance.
In plastisol applications, Elatur CH offers lower initial viscosity and better viscosity stability.

PRODUCTION:

Elatur CH can be produced by the catalytic hydrogenation of diisononyl phthalate.
Alternatively Elatur CH can be prepared by Diels-Alder reaction of a diisononyl maleate with 1,3-butadiene followed by hydrogenation.
In the case of the catalytic hydrogenation the aromatic, planar part of the diisononyl phthalate is transformed to a cyclohexane ring.
Elatur CH consists of 90% of the cis and 10% of the trans (chiral) isomers.
Elatur CH is a clear, colorless, liquid high molecular weight plasticizer.
